REAL Incentives
Approximately 90% of all companies in the Real Estate and Development industry are independent. REAL Professionals Network™ provides a method to leverage specialized expertise, contacts and utilize our collective size to benefit member companies. REAL Professionals Network is a local network composed of Traditional & Professional REAL Professionals that collectively help each other. The most important benefit to our members is to accelerate the sales cycles by organizing REAL Intelligence™ that becomes actionable REAL Opportunities
Every other week, REAL facilitates intelligence gathering meetings between REAL Professional Network members that help each other make and keep more money.
What makes the REAL meetings effective?
- RPN offers a world of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- Each meeting dedicates time to facilitated networking and introductions, so members can make valuable connections and promote themselves and their business.
- RPN meetings offer the chance to get valuable REAL Intelligence.
- The professionals that attend our meetings are experienced and active participants.
Why Join?
Our meetings surface REAL Intelligence™, REAL Opportunities™ and REAL Comps™.
REAL Intelligence™
is street knowledge; actual proposal comps and market trends that are shared by the members at the meetings.
REAL Opportunities™
are actual business opportunities that are best served by the expertise or joint expertise of REAL Professionals members.
REAL Comps™
are actual deal comparisons presented by the members at the meetings of deals they have completed.
Beyond Conventional Networking
While our members consider us a great source for new business opportunities, we are much more than a “leads” group with conventional networking. We provide a network of collaborating professionals that are true partners to make deals happen faster and more efficiently which allows members to make more money while providing superior services to their clients.
Colleagues Down The Hall
Fellow members are your “colleagues down the hall” who can offer expertise in specific fields or sectors of the Real Estate and Development industry. Collaborating with a member allows you the flexibility to expand services to your clients, an advantage formerly held only by companies with multiple specializations.
Less Restrictive Than a Franchise
Unlike a national real estate franchise, members retain their autonomy and continue to operate under their own brand. With senior level professionals, their brand recognition is paramount to success and that is not overshadowed by the REAL Professionals Network. Co-branding with the recognizable “Industry Leader” Seal ensures clients of the highest level of integrity and professionalism across our entire network
Access and Buying Power
Fellow professional members, such as attorneys, accountants and bankers are available as an important resource within each group and at each meeting. Together, our member companies have a collective size that enables us to purchase goods and services at substantial savings such as our negotiated group discounts available through CoStar, Regus and other professional members. Additional discounts continue to be negotiated to meet the needs of members as RPN expands.

LACKEY SEES JUMP IN APT ACTIVITY (Bisnow)Real Professionals Network's CEO Rick Lackey says he expects even more announced projects this year, given readily available debt. Even the members in his organization are getting involved in the multifamily development cycle. “We'll definitely see new multifamily development in 2012. If anything, it's going to increase.” REAL DEAL (Bisnow)We caught up with Sperry Van Ness’ Bill Graham and SRS Real Estate Partners’ Tyler Isbell in Atlanta, of all places. That's because the duo were there to launch as founding partners of REAL Professionals, which is now headed to Dallas. REAL Professionals is a networking group that gathers market intel and tips that members can use to generate business. The Atlanta-based organization—headed by former Atlanta Grubb & Ellis top dog Rick Lackey— has seen explosive membership growth in Atlanta... THEY ARE THE CHAMPIONS (Bisnow)We got to meet Rick Lackey's new champions at the Buckhead Club last week. Here we have Newburger-Andes' Steve Farrar, City Realty Advisors' Tim Holdroyd and Trivest Real Estate's Tim Knight, who have been named to head three REAL Professionals groups in Atlanta (Jessica Hall, who works for REAL Professionals, also pictured).
REAL is Rick's networking org that has quickly grown in metro Atlanta and attracted the participation of some 50 companies. Rick also just expanded REAL into Dallas.

Grubb Gets the RetailWorks Band Back Together (Real Estate Rooster)Grubb & Ellis has put the RetailWorks team back together. Michael Dahmer, principal of RetailWorks, joined Grubb & Ellis late last year as senior vice president in Grubb's Retail Group, and, with loose ends tied up, Michael Woodruff, former RetailWorks' senior associate, and Kellie Scrogum, associate, will now hang their shingle at Grubb & Ellis as well. Eggs-centric dining hits the spot in the ATL (Atlanta Business Chronicle)Brunch brings out the crowds throughout the metro area on weekends, but breakfast is big among Atlanta’s business dealmakers during the week. And a couple of new restaurants with menus focused on the art and science of preparing eggs are coming to town to tap into both markets. Dealvalanche (Real Estate Rooster)We're not opposed to creating new words, especially when our friends at Newburger-Andes tell us about an avalanche of deals, or a dealvalanche.
