REAL DEAL (Bisnow)

We caught up with Sperry Van Ness’ Bill Graham and SRS Real Estate Partners’ Tyler Isbell in Atlanta, of all places. That's because the duo were there to launch as founding partners of REAL Professionals, which is now headed to Dallas. REAL Professionals is a networking group that gathers market intel and tips that members can use to generate business. The Atlanta-based organization—headed by former Atlanta Grubb & Ellis top dog Rick Lackey— has seen explosive membership growth in Atlanta...

THEY ARE THE CHAMPIONS (Bisnow)

We got to meet Rick Lackey's new champions at the Buckhead Club last week. Here we have Newburger-Andes' Steve Farrar, City Realty Advisors' Tim Holdroyd and Trivest Real Estate's Tim Knight, who have been named to head three REAL Professionals groups in Atlanta (Jessica Hall, who works for REAL Professionals, also pictured). REAL is Rick's networking org that has quickly grown in metro Atlanta and attracted the participation of some 50 companies. Rick also just expanded REAL into Dallas.

COWTOWN SCHMOOZE: MOJITOS & NEWS (Bisnow)

Intertech Commercial Flooring’s Christy Margolis, with SRS’ Tyler Isbell and Real Professional Network’s Mike Ulloa, tells us the company recently expanded into Dallas from the Atlanta area.

SCHMOOZE-A-PALOOZA (Bisnow)

Mid-schmooze, we interrupted UTA urban density guru Michael Buckley and REAL Professional Network’s Rick Lackey. Rick, who started his network a little over a year ago in Atlanta, got capital from outside investors this spring to expand the network into Dallas. The groups meet to share CRE market tips and intel.

That's A REAL Party (Real Estate Rooster)

More than 100 real estate professionals representing independent companies throughout metro Atlanta attended the Real Professionals Network Holiday Party Thursday at Wildwood.

Lackey Gets REAL (Real Estate Rooster)

Every two weeks, leaders from a group of independent real estate firms and a few vendors get together and trade info and leads on projects and deals.

One REAL Happy Hour (Real Estate Rooster)

The Rooster stopped in the Regus Business Center in Summit at Perimeter last Thursday evening, as a good crowd gathered in their long-time space (soon to be replaced by AutoTrader's new headquarters) to mix and mingle with the REAL Professionals Network's Board of Advisors.

More Deal Makers (Bisnow)

Rick Lackey has the gestures of The Godfather, and his newest endeavor has him arranging deals like him as well (though we don't remember Vito Corleone ordering a salad).
